Anyway I had quite a fair bit of fun up there, and also spent a lot of Ringgit... haha It was rather interesting to be on a night coach with only 3 passengers (good too cuz there is no noise at all...), witnessing and practising kiasu-ism (by queueing up for a hotel check-in number at 4 + am when the counter only opens at 5am) among others... Played a lot, bowled a lot, scared myself a fair bit (while playing space shot, which is some kind of vertical drop thingy, heart stopped beating for a moment when the initial drop happened from the tip) and also ate a lot. Oh and I bought lots of foodstuff back too...
Anyway Monday I gotta go back to work... :(

Being in duty team is a little exhausting... actually also must see when the duties fall on... weekend duties, tho a bit sian cuz it burns ur weekedns, is in a way nice too cuz it's really slack. Last fri I did a night duty till sat morning and i managed to get 6 hours non-stop sleep...
Last night I did a night duty till this morning and I only got 4.5 hours of sleep in total but super interrupted... So I'm really shagged and was really edgy. To makes matter worse, handover was so slow and we only left like at 11.30am... instead of the usual 10.30...
In any case, I think I can get used to it la. Duty team is novel in it's own way la... Team lao jiaos are quite nice, save for a few... but of course everywhere u go there will definitely be colleagues u wun like la... thank God most of them are ORD-ing soon... So dun really have to see their faces for too long now...
Going to Genting tml!!! Finally at long last. I only got notice of my approved leave this monday (when I had applied like 2 weeks ago la!) and so bookings and all was only done this week... Yay!! June 21st push to July 22nd and now finally going liao.
It should be a good break la... Come back August liao... and getting a rather sizeable tuition paycheck at the end of the month.

Terence pens his legacy at 5:59 PM This week just seemed extra extra long. Monday when OIC gave us our posting seemed like so long ago... dunno why...
Anyway I'm at Pasir Laba Ammo Depot (PLAD) now... Initially was quite sian cuz the location is really fucked up... So WEST... Like wanna go anywhere also diffcult cuz of the long travelling time.
But it turned out to be a really ncie place to be posted to. The OC, 2IC, CSM (who is a really young 2SG and who understands the trials and tribulations of youths) and almost any other perm staff are all nice ppl and mild-tempered by nature. Or maybe I just have not seen their other sides. But everyone just seems ncie... tightly bonded as one tight family. I think I could very easily fall in love with PLAD.
Anyway, attached to a few depts in PLAD over the past 3 days. R&I is really tiring physically but time passes really quickly... Then RP... well dun think we will go there. Salvage is really SLACK becuz it's closing down soon... and so they are not recruiting either. Then attched to duty team today. 0830 to 2130 hours. REALLY TIRING. But the job seemed ok... not too physcially or mentally stressing. Only bad thing is the shift nature of the job... which if handed to me could very potentially and potently screw up my tuition schedules...
But I'll just wait for next tues and see where I get posted to. It doesn't really matter seriously... I'm ambivalent? Should I say that?... Well u get the drift. Dun really feel so excited or worried or anything... Just empty.
The toll of having so many tutees at once is starting to weigh down on me... Feel like my weekends are all the more precious now...
Surprisingly, I dun feel tired at all... I just feel... empty. Getting too much work to keep my worries at bay seem to be working... too well if u ask me. It's really numbing my senses, making me lose control.
I don't even feel excited about going to Genting with Jan 2 weekends later. (And it's not you Jan, it's me...). But I applied leave liao... [:)] I guess?
Long weekend ahead. Whoever said life's lessons are free, and easy?

Sat... Morning cousin came over to ask me about Analogue electronics (op-amp) and quantum... but i tot op-amp out of syllabus liao?? Anyway ya "tutored" him for a while... then quickly rush rush to JE to photocopy stuff and rush to orchard to meet ray and jan for crystal jade lunch... Was SOOOO anticipating this meal cuz for the 1st time Jan said she wanted to treat us! LOL! But because the queue was too long and we had a movie strating soon so we din eat at CJ at last. :'( Save up the money ar!!! Next time must still treat! Say means say liao haha
So anyway I watched WOTW... again... with them... but i din mind la cuz it was a really ncie show. Altho not as enjoyable the 2nd time round... cuz can anticipate what's happening liao mah.
Yup then after that (never rush) went back to JE to tutor a pj girl... chem. Ya. 5.30 to 7. Then met up with some juniors from CSS... so loooooong never see them liao... but almost all look the same except for one who became "anorexic". MY GOD IS SHE SOOOO SKINNY!
Went to watch yet another CSS junior (all drama juniors la btw) perform at Subsation Guiness Theatre... It was a play revolving around the redhill legend but given a modern twist... Damn funny and ncie... Hard to come by such entrancing plays nowadays liao... sad :(
Then after that, we headed over to the mac at West Mall there and sat and chatted and told lots of jokes and ghost stories... ARgh! Miss those old days esp during rehearsals which stretch late into the evening, where we would always engage in idle gossip... Those were really good times...
Then today... busy busy earning money... Rushed all over the place to give 3 lessons today... and in between had to make 2 trips home to buy lunch and dinner for my LAZY brother... Yup. :S
But still it was fun! I hope I stay in SoA!

So ppl... please go watch it k? It is absolutely sustainably attention-grabbing, action-packed, filled with emotions and sprinkled with suspense all over... all rolled up into one fantastic show.
Ok... I noe ppl have been syaing that there's no ending or that it sucked... but I guess ppl only say that becus the ending kinds of pales in comparison when placed alongside the simply breathtaking/awesome/all kinds of fantastic adjectives beginning and middle.
Serious. I din get bored at ANY point of time in the movie...
Ok... enough selling. But it is definitely worth your $9.50 (on weekends) or $7 (on weekdays, like me! :p)

Terence pens his legacy at 11:04 PM It's been a while since I blogged, or maybe it feels long to me cuz I have not been turning on my com for the past week... yeah my com sort of konked up last sunday, just couldn't operate and all... :( Think it has to do with the video card... maybe it got burnt or sth and caused the whole circuitry to screw up...
So anyway, it got me thinking... over-reliance on technology (e.g. comp, HP, TV...) can really be such a bad thing... when something goes wrong you just feel so lost... and like a part of you is incomplete. Ergh. Tech... boon or bane???
Oh I'm blogging frm my mom's com. Refrained from using my bro's com cuz he would complain non-stop should any small error occur after I use it. Somehow it is ALWAYS my fault when someething happens to his com.
Anyway I'm gonna start learning driving soon... I really hope to be able to drive by my birthday but it seems 4 months is a little short to get a license. But still it's worth a try.
I'm feeling "gaurdedly optimistic" about my life now. (Quoted: Caryn from Survivor: Palau) Course and the sh*t that comes along is ending soon! Posting too!
