So anyway it ended prematurely.
Went up to jan's place to help out with the "grand" bbq this evening. Helped cut some banana leaves to wrap sotong and fish and stingrays. And also helped to prepare some fried yam balls. Got myself all sweaty and stinky and all. Ergh. But I hadn't cooked in a long time so it was still quite fun i guess?
Anyway the bbq was soooo boring cuz it was only filled with jan's relatives. Thank God Ray came or else I wouldn't have anyone to tok to. Ate a bit but was mainly exploited as free labour helping to peng gang food for all the 3 gu 6 po-s who all only knew how to do enough work to lift their almighty fingers and grab ANY food that has just been barbequed to completion. Ergh.
And worse of all they still dare to complain so loudly about how bad some of the food tasted. At least do it discreetly leh aiyoh! Ppl (not me la) spend a lot time preparing wan leh. Tsk.
So that's about it. After getting my poor face all oiled up and sweated up, I left at ard 9. too boring. No games. No cards. No nothing.
Don't invite me to another family bbq again... frens' ones are still ok...

This week was good cuz a new batch of ard 15 obese lobos came in - fresh form BMT and still botak and fearful
So of course we did the only logical thing - delegate

And CSM was so caught up in interviewing these new ppl he din have time to really come bother us except for today. Which is fine by me u noe...
Tml is rest day. All for myself. Or at least I hope. Cuz sunday is all planned nicely liao. Morning is gym, afternoon is sushi making and evening is bbq with jan, ray, ren? and jan's relatives. Free of course. Now why wouldn't I smile? Duh?! I not so cheapskate la.
Course is starting next week... Ergh. 3 weeks of classes. So over for me liao but still... Better than 3 months of ATT course haha. :p I really hope not to get posted back to SOA to be a clerk or sth cuz the OIC here is really f**ked up. (I gotta be more careful in scolding cuz blogs are VERY accessible sources for dirt to dig up so there - )
No apparent recognition for hard work. My! Even the lobos up at PAD got a half day off today just for the mere being lobos at PAD... and also all got a 2 day off to claim at their own time for helping out at the Army Safety Exhibition. Now where's that off-in-lieu for my sentry at range last month???!!!
Life's like that right? To think I thought staying at SOA was good cuz it was small and cosy and... oh look my dinner's already out... Let's make it to PAD man! Show CSM that I am not a capable worker so he wun keep me at SOA.
Oh and Mr and Mrs Smith was kind of nice. Well, at least worth the 7 bucks I paid for it on wed night.
And happy birthday yin ngai! (Super belated I know but at least happy! :D)
P.S. Genting is postponed. Try to make it the weekend of 3rd week of july k? Which is 15, 16 amd 17. Sth to look forward to...
Terence pens his legacy at 9:40 PM Went JB shopping the whole day today. Was really very enjoyable cuz the things there are like significantly cheaper than stuff in sg (ok, not like WAY cheaper but still...)
But HR was VERY LATE and as a result we arrived at the KTV half an hour late and missed out 1/2 an hour of singing lor... Oh and how much I love going to KTV with jan and ray cuz they both sing quite badly (me included) so we all just klkb anyhow sing sing lor muahahah :D
Ya then we went shopping where I bought a converse polo tee, a billabong tee and boardshort. Yup. Then we 3 saw this very nice converse sweater (but not those long long baggy types... the types that the angmohs in cold countries like to wear out jogging on cold winter mornings kind...) which was ard $66 sing... ray bought it at last... wanted to buy it too but it was really too ex for me la....
Ya... then we also had pizza hut for dinner... ate like a king and only spent $11 sing. Hurhur.
Oh but I lost 50RM on this trip... somehow either it slipped out of my wallet or i bought sth i din relaise or lost it or sth... it just vanished for no reason so it was quite sian... (that's about 20 plus sing dollars ok! one CD leh!!!)
Ya then I also broke my camp pass accidentally... must pay $50...
But other than that...
IT WAS A BLAST THIS WEEKEND!!!
And I am certainly looking forward to 2 weekends later when jan and I plan to go to genting for 2 days 2 nights. Hur. Hope to have a blast as well since it's been a while since I went there.
Terence pens his legacy at 9:58 PM Love Monster-in-law... very funny and nice movie... only spoilt by some childish children's laughters (they laugh at almost everything... even those unfunny ones... urgh)
Had fun meeting up with the gals too... zing, re and ner... had a very good dinner at Swensen's and a fun time catching up with u gals... looking forward to meeting woon and the gals after she comes back from china.
Taking up another tuition job... sec 3 physics. Hopefully I wun tire myself out :)

Terence pens his legacy at 7:53 PM The Great Singapore Sale has hit me. Yup. I spent a total of close to $200 over these last 3 days (fri, sat and today)... Bought 2 books on tarot readings which cost me ard $55 on fri and sat, watched "A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" which cost me $9.50 on fri (oh which by the way is quite a good laugh... very slapstick humour that makes u laugh ur guts out at some points...)
Then yesterday wasn't so bad cuz i went to gym with janelle, but today was the worst! I spent like $114 on clothes and shoes... :O! (Oops!) Yup... went to buy a shirt and board shorts at JL for ard $39, then an OP board shorts for $35, then also this pair of brown sneaker-looking kind of shoes which cost $40.... that's not including the dinner I had at NYDC... luckily I ate lunch at a neighbourhood coffeeshop or else it would be worse...
OH NO! Spending so much! Next weekend going to JB to shop with frens summore... *Gasps* Alarmed at how quickly money can be used up. Wadeva la haha!

Thought the law tea session was some big and important event for all law students but turns out it only lasted 20 mins (of offical talk) and another ard 30 mins of talk with frens and aquaintances. :S Shouldn't have applied for leave la.
Anywayz I hate middlemans. Being them and them themselves. *shrug*
