Terence pens his legacy at 7:43 PM A very long and tiring day today... giving out flyers for a tuition agency my mom set up... so jan, ray and I were scouring almost every part of hougang (ners the mrt and also ave 8) slotting flyers into ppl's mailboxes and gates (climbing up and down and going door to door... ya... tiring rite?)
So today's exercise kinds of makes up for a lot of days of not exercising haha
And there's mroe to come as well... after hougang we are targeting jurong west extension, bishan as well as toa payoh...
So to make my life easier... if any of u guys who visit my blog wanna be a tutor, or know of relatives/ frens who wants to hire tutors pls call or sms me?? Haha... *shameless advertising always works* :D

Terence pens his legacy at 11:32 PM had a rather good week... somehow it just passed rather quickly... which is good! :) Mybe becuz there was survivor finale on monday and then tuition and all... in any case I decided to drop the P6 boy I am teaching cuz like no improvements in his studies but rather a drop in std summore... can only imagine what his mother would be thinking of me.
But I got a new job teaching this PJ gal chem and maths la... so well... u win some u lose some... well ard there
Oh and I got into Law at NUS. No dbl degree but I guess Law is already v good liao... should my blessings instead of others'
So anyway the plans are underway! Jan and Ray would noe wad I mean... Oh and I juz got a new phone today, the sony ericsson T290i... a colour phone at last! And free summore cuz got promotion and just renew contract for 2 years can liao... so yay! Can start experimenting with it soon :D
Anyway I juz came back from watching "Cash on Delivery", the hcI ELDDFS annual production 2005. Though heard some bad stuff abt bkstage and coordination and synergy among the exco this yr, but the show was exceptional! Really hilarious... those who missed it (or din even noe abt it) really missed out on sth great... the cast was amzing too. too bad i dun noe most of my juniors acting in it... but oh well... it has always been lidat in LD la hor
So yup... class outing tml... let's hope it turns out well... i wouldn't say well... just not disastrous can liao :D. Cheers!
Terence pens his legacy at 11:09 PM Had a good outing today... and yesterday too acty... and in fact friday too... Really starting to appreciate the weekends more now that I am "working"... in a shitty job tt is
In any case, just caught kingdom of heaven. Well... I wouldn't say it is a total letdown but in quite a few ways it was disappointing... had rather long and draggy scenes with no dialogue at many times (ya, orlando bloom speaks so little it feels like he's just a vase) so I almost felt like I wanna sleep at some points. But I did love the fighting scene at the end. Superb... kinds of makes up for the boring slow front half...
Ok so yesterday celebrated zy's bday with my clique of frens... haha becuz i was bargaining for higher tuition pay which took an unexpectedly long time of 1.5 hours... i was super super late in meetng them at lot 1... but it was not so bad anyway la since as usual no aim and walk walk ard the shopping centre only lor they all... But we played some arcade. Daytona la acty... where I got thrashed!!! NOOOO!!! haha... also went to play pool for a while... was super tyco... heh but had a nice day la... hope zy likes his presents which jan handpicked... hehe
Then today hanged out with woon, ner and renna (who was super late haha) and zing was supposed to turn up too but haiz... got mid yr exam papers to mark... so suay rite? Relief only muz mark exam papers... no OT summore! So anyway we ate at Crystal Jade La Mian and Xiao Long Bao... ooh! Really lurrrrrve their xiao long bao and their veg and meat wanton noodles... Oh and the guo tie is fantastic too! And the price is not too scary either... def can consider including CJ as one of my frequently go visit mid range restaurants...
So anyway we then went to taka atirum there where woon wanted to get a bag for Ming Jun for her bday... finally found a rather artistically looking "armpit bag"... haha dunno wad is the proper term but is a short shoulder bag la... ya... then i also saw a rather ncie affordable wallet but then again no need for one... so strange ar... women's sale got men's stuff... So yup had a lot of long funny jokes-filled talk with the gals... caught up a lot with them as well... had fun gals! Hope to hang out sometime again!
Oh well... tml back to army again... at least there's survivor finale to look forward to...
OH NO! Amaxing race has ended, survivor ends tml, and the Apprentice is ending next sun! No more reality shows liao!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!

Anyway tml is FRIDAY!!! Yeah can't believe that this week passed rather quickly... maybe bcuz of range yesterday. And oh, dun think I will be getting an off for that, whcih is like so unfair la... Well I'll see what's the best course of action I should take in response to that *grinz*. Can't really say I have been feeling as healthy as per normal after that long day...
And yes, after speaking to a corporal in my unit who is an A*STAR scholar, I realsied my mistakes which I guess costed me my scholarship opportunities... Maybe next year I'll try again?

Terence pens his legacy at 9:29 PM Ok... so I received the rejection letter by PSC today... so wad? Haha... I also received MDIS' letter for the APC thing!
Anyway, after so many rejections (ok acty 3 only) I somehow feel numb? get over such things more easily?
And it may be a good thing considering I have plans for part time employment for the next 2 years so PSC would have disrupted them.
What's left? CAAS, MAS, GIC and DBS.
Not bad. At least I feel enthu about 2 of them...
Ok so enough abt the "depressing" stuff... today one of my fellow lobos at SoA and I were posted to Nee Soon Camp's Rnage to do sentry duty... which according to the lao jiaos there is funny cuz this post is always filled up by the shooters shooting on that day itself.
So anyway it juz entailed us sitting in this small little shelter (with a fan Thank God!) and just only allow authorised ppl to enter. Of course so many ppl wanted to come into the compound to use the toilet/ patronise the canteen that we just din really care too much and just sat in the shelter doing our stuff until something big like a tonner or rover wanted to enter.
So anyway I tried to prepare some things for my eng tuition but I only made so much progress. Basically I was chatting with my fren and snacking and reading the Straits Times all day long... ya. Abt like this only lor haha.
Hopefully I will be granted an off-in-due... Hope itchy scratvhy OIC will grant... it's deserved lor I feel...

So anyway attended this briefing to be a MDIS Associate Programme Consultant, which is basically promoting MDIS courses to ppl and getting commission for successful referals la. Ya, so like an insurance agent lidat haha. So anyone of u all out there who wanna take MDIS courses (they have all sorts la, ranging from Certs for N level ppl, Diplomas, Advanced Diploma, Bachelors and even Masters!) or noe of ppl who might be interested (like ur sis or bro who are in poly or sth then have frens who wanna go to private uni instead of NUS/NTU) pls pls lemme noe ok?? Haha. Then I planja u all meal lolz :p
So anyway after that had a first official meeting of our tuition agency. Discussed some outstanding issues with Janelle only cuz the others all somehow couldn't make it. Very excited. Can't wait for it to really begin. Really hope I can pull this off. It would be SUCH an experience.
Then went shopping a while with her, and then went home for a while b4 heading out to tutor agian... ya long tiring day.
Tml morning is packed too.
Tml afternoon is strictly for rest ONLY.
Tml evening is celebration time.

So anyway today was quite funny. This evening.
Ok so SOA was good today... tho OIC is back (with the usual grumpy old middle-age crisis man kind of face) and we had to continuously do sk (he doesn't like to see people sitting down AT ALL. Sadist. Pity his wife and kids if he has the capability to get any), but the dear weather was helping us today. It was pouring and thus CAT 1 status was announced and we couldn't stay outdoors at all and thus we could officially slack at our corner. Or maybe Heaven was mouring the passing over of a really wonder-wonderful president. I really give him props for leading alongside ppl... someone I def want to emulate.
So anyway the day passed rather quickly... and then I wanted to watch Kingdom of Heaven with Li at Great World. Cuz town will sure be flooded and sold out and all. So I arrived at like 8.30+ and guess what? The 9.20 show had only the 1st 2 rows of seats left. So the next show which was at 12.40 had seats and Li was on abt watching it so I went ahead and bought it.
Then he finally came. Then tok kok then suddenly got phone call frm homee and gotta go home la. So we couldn;t watch the movie... ended up asking the ticket counter to help us sell our tix... Thank God it was sold minutes after we requested.
Nv watched a midnight show which would end so late b4 (projected end at 3am) and thought I was gonna have a new experience. Guess what transpired was experience new enuf.

Anyway the long days I had been having are starting to take its toll on me. Seems I keep wishing for the next long weekend to come soon. So that I can recharge and rejuvenate.
But with so many things I want to do I guess the weekends don't provide me with this chance too.
My fault? Probably. Guess I shouldn't start sewing clothes with textile I don't even have enough of to begin with. But the prospects and excitement of some of the things get me so started up I dun wanna stop doing or thinking abt it.
Nuff said. Tml is Friday and I'm like damn happy!!! Fcare that OIC is coming back haha.
Terence pens his legacy at 11:29 PM Long day. Lack of sleep yesterday. Going to have lack of sleep today. So I'll keep it short.
PSC interview kind of sucked for me. I guess they exposed a lot of loopholes in the things I submit to them (dun wanna tok abt it too much) and also the replies to certain qns they asked me made me look as tho I'm not interested or passionate abt the scholarship and Germany (where I intend to study in). Halo? I got NS lor. If everyday buang at home of course can research la. Anyway like 70% of the "mistakes" are my fault... :(
Gave tuition today by request of the tutee. I should start charging OT soon. Heh. Missed AMI and when I went to get stuff from HR missed a lil of TAR. Wadeva la. Tuitioning and earning more $$ is more impt than a few minutes of a show.
Starting new tuition this sun. Plans are rife for me and my pals to do sth soon heh... Dun rush into it k, Jan? A lot of loopholes haha. Dun wanna reply thru email cuz long and tired liao. Tok abt it next time we meet.
Tml nite tuition again... then fri night watch movie. Then sat like packed lidat also. Why am I stressing up the 2 yrs of my life I tolf myself to relax in? For $? For worthiness?
Terence pens his legacy at 11:40 PM Buanging one whole day at home with just my com and me was soooooo therapeutic. It is. So anyway I finally completed FF8 which I have been playing for a long time now liao. I even defeated Omega Weapon muhaha.
Ok so anyway today back to army. Lidat lor. As usual. Sai gang and buanging. Bus was super cooperative today in the vening but weather was not. So anyway got home really early and had lotsa time to eat/bathe before heading out to give tuition, budden it suddenly poured. Ya so ended up wasting more time than needed to travel there and was 10 mins late. Wadeva.
It was good that there was no hostility from the boy since I scolded him so badly on Sunday. But he deserved it la.
Ok gonna go back to games (I'm hooked on Heroes 4 now!) and then Alias Season 4 is coming up!! *Grins*

So anyway gave tuition in the morning... was so fed up with the boy... wasn't paying attn and was fooling ard... so i gave him a BIG piece of my mind and cancelled tml's session haha. I am the king lor not the employer heh.
So anyway then I finally signed the Prudential savings and protection policy... felt good that I am finally making a long term decision on my own... and the agent doesn't seem to be a conster or anything la.
Then went to town... init wanted to sing at kbox cuz got discount coupon but it turned out to be invalid for PHs... WTH la
So we just walk ard aimlessly like headless zombies ard town and ended up going to kinokuniya where we just browsed thru books lor... haha so sina rite? I browse unitl my eyes tired liao so I juz wait outside haha. Then also buang at kfc tok rots and also go basement buy food. Ya juz abt like that lor
Then came bk hm and after dinner brought my dearest mom out to shopping at IMM... bought her this purple gold pendent adorned with diamonds... she likes it a lot esp since she already has a matching pair of earrings... haha so funny when the salesman/girl keep asking her to buy the ring to complete the set as well... but they are really frenly la... feel ok to give them their commission if they do get
Yup... tml one whole day of buanging at hm since i cancelled my tuition liao haha. Nv buang at all this 2 days and weariness is carrying forward... not good
