Anyway I had a rather late book out today. Well much later than the past 2 times at least cuz we threw grenade today. Not as interesting as some ppl hyped it up to be tho (sorry :D)
Anyway I have to go back in tml and it is super depressing cuz I only have like wad... 24 hours out here as a civilian?? Sigh. Well maybe I'll try to get an MC tml and book in late.
The only consolation is, despite the road march in monday, next week is rather slack for us... tuesday is practically a free day, wed there is an OC nite (which is like some talentime thingy for all platoons to perform) and thurs is games day (like FOS) and there's recruit nite. Fri is A levels results. So there. Myabe I dun have to take an attend C at all heh...
And I have to say it wasn't intentional... I am so mentally worn out that sometimes things just slip my mind. U do realise that I have short-termed memory hor??...

Anyway just finished range and field camp last week. Not a very good combination to have together in one week. :( Then grenade is this sat... also very sian

Got to spend time with my family and relatives during CNY. Had lots of fun gambling (once again I have apologised to the Lord and I promised him that I will only po4 li4 during CNY and at no other times), even though I had a net loss of $20 after two days haha. Lost a lot mainly at mahjong where my super lucky cousin won i think 4 zi4 mo1 games in a row... wth la -.- Ya. Blackjack wasn't too good either. My father was like encouraging me to hammer the banker and play heavy wagers but in the end i dun think the strategy really paid off. Ok I broke even for blackjack la I think. Ya... but it was fun like meeting some relatives who I do not see often and having a good time with them in the process.
Then went to town with lionel yesterday (fri la). Wanted to watch Constantine at PS. Then it was like PS had most of the timeslots already sold out and the available ones had only like the 1st 3 rows from the screen left. Li checked out Lido and it wasn't much better. And I think cine wasn't showing or sth.... so end up we sat at MOS burger at ngee ann and toked kok. About NS stories mainly la. Then chatted and chatted until like 4 plus then went to HMV to listen to albums. Ya... finally get to enjoy and do something I like for like how long liao??!! Haha. Wasn't too impressed by kelly clarkson's new album... too rock, and gravitating towards the avril lavigne style a bit too much... not tt it's not good or anything, just feel that it's so un-kelly clarkson like tt I was slightly turned off. Listened to diana degarmo's album and liked it actually. Ya and I eventually bought it. Really love her 1st 3 singles. Yup. Also listened to BoA's Best of Soul compilation. Really nice too. I think I liked every single track except rock with you. So ya... really glad I bought it too (tho not at hmv la... too ex, bought at CD rama at Je today instead)
Then met up with woon's clique today. Was supposed to go tuan bai but end up only went to my house n ner's cuz we started like real late. Supposed to meet at 12 at JE but i think when we finally sat down for lunch at IMM it was 1.15 pm. Hmm... u girls ar... *sigh* haha. Ya then i think only went to my house at 3pm. Watched Identity. Quite nice. Had a good laugh when I saw most of them freak out at the scary parts muhahaha. Girls... No, girls at scary movies....
Anyway we left for Ner's place after that. Also sat n toked kok for a very long time. Until 8pm then we leave i think. Ya. Ner's parents were so frenly. Like purposely finding new oranges to exchange with us and keep asking us to help ourselves to the goodies haha. And btw I dunno where Ner gets her stock of goodies but all of them are so nice la... hmm... Then Woon n I left for her cousin's bday party all the way at Paya Lebar. Ya... so far and so sian. Went there. Big big semi D la... so good. Then the bday girl and her sisters all look a bit lian la haha... but the bday girl quite chio la... ok maybe so so only la. The typical lian style. Haha... no offense. Ok la, woon's relatives were quite frenly. But still couldn't help but feel out of place la. I mean I dun even noe like 99% of the ppl there or sth haha. And finally I managed to put a face to the irritating pesky lil sis of Woon's! Haha... Look so different from her lor... and personality also quite different i think haha... interesting pair of sisters.
Yup. See the difference in the blog content and length??? It really feels good to be civilian again. But I guess BMT will be over soon la. 1 more month. Shld pass quickly... I hope.
Terence pens his legacy at 12:39 AM Yet another quite early book out. Ok maybe not. Cuz I still couldn't make it in time to rush back to HC. Which I probably wouldn't have done anyway cuz only ngai, boxing and yunhui went back. What happened to the class reunion???!!!
Anyway, nothing much new to bitch about the NS life. It has been ok for the past 1 day. Heh. Now that the loooong CNY break is here, I'm like super estatic but at the same time a little worried. Like I'm afraid that after having 6 days of fun and all without NS in my mind, I would be very reluctant to go back to Tekong on Sunday. Ya, the last book in last sun was pretty tough for me to be honest. Having been able to break free from Tekong was heaven, and going back, even the slightest thought of it, is hell.
That being said, I shall try my very best to maximise the utility I can derive from this long break. And try not to think so much about the book in this sun and the impending field camp, range and worse of all 2 week confinement. To make things worse the next book out after the 2 confinement is grenade throwing day so it would end at like 5 or 6pm meaning a late book out for all of us. *shrug* Anyway all I can hope for now is for these 7 weeks to be over soon, and pray for good A level results which some of my frens say are coming out end feb instead of early march.

Terence pens his legacy at 1:30 PM First book-out after entering tekong for 2 weeks! Yay so happy. Tofay is my book out day, book out, book out...
Anyway I'm glad I'm in PES C, cuz it really IS much more slack than the PES A/B training, or at least what I heard la. I mean, I'm not those type of person who always likes to choose the easy way out wan la, but for NS which I so loathe in the 1st place ar, ya maybe the easier option is better for me haha...
Anyway I guess I only had how many gym/running sessions these 2 weeks? Can count on one hand I think haha. I think only had like 3 running PT sessions and 2 gym. Other than that it's just lectures (which I always sleep at cuz it really is boring... plus the weather is humid and hot and the instructors' voices are always fading off haha...), and the IMT shot which I LURRRRRVVVVEEE!!! It's these computer simulated shooting range like the one at the Discovery Centre. Damn fun, tho I think I can't qualify as a marksman cuz I always miss when in very suan positions esp those supported ones. Crap. Dun ever ask me to do prone unsupported or kneel unless u want me to miss like siao haha.
Ya, I guess I have just about summed up most of my BMT life so far. Oh ya, got drills and all too. But actually wad I really want to comment on is the fact that actually a lot of ppl there are excused from running, marching and jumping (we call rmj for short) and these ppl miss out or rather are not allowed/asked to participate in most PT sessions, so my platoon always left very few ppl to do the exercises. From 51 always become 10 plus. But when we jog, march or wadeva together I feel like we really bond together, and also with the instructors that run alongside us. I guess this has taught me a little more about myself - that I work better in small groups rather than big ones. Have made some really nice frens in my platoon and I really would like to thank GOD for giving me such an experience.
Anyway I hope I have not made army sound lax cuz it really is not. Discipline is like on the A-list all the time. Everything must pack nicely or else will get hit by tsunami. Even though we have been shouted at, punished and all the &%*&! crap from the farktards, I think this will only make me grow into a better person. I love to sing songs while marching too! Heh.
